Spiritual Gifts

I Corinthians 14:1 (NLT) - Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy.

1 Corinthians 12:6-10 (NIV) - There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

1 Corinthians 7:7 (NIV) - I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NIV) - 4Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

1 Corinthians 12:28 (NIV) —And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

1 Corinthians 13:2 (NIV) - If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Acts 19:6 (NIV) - 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
