Matthew 5: 34-37 (NIV) 34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.[a]

Matthew 7:12 (NIV) 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 20:26 (NIV) - 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

1 Timothy 3:5 -(NIV ) - If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?

1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) - Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Exodus 18:21 (NIV)- But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
